You're Excited About US Because You Will...

-Provide consistent professional massage modalities and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices to male and female guests while developing an appropriate treatment plan based on the guest's needs and requests.

-Provide the highest level of customer satisfaction by listening and understanding guests' needs and desires.

-Maintain and expand the patronage of spa and salon by actively promoting/upselling additional treatments, services and retail products.

-Demonstrate respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests' needs in a professional manner.

-Maintain strict confidentiality according to department procedures and guidelines.

-Follow proper draping procedures and Blood Borne pathogen procedures at all times.

We're Excited About YOU Because...

-You earned a diploma or certification in Massage Therapy to obtain a license/permit in the state/county/city of the spa.

-You ideally have at least three to five years of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist in a similar environment (i.e. spa, hotel, med spa, or resort).

-You are trained and certified in all basic massage techniques and are able to perform all massage treatments offered by the spa for both men and women.

-You have and will continue to maintain current State, County, City or other required Massage Therapist licenses/permits.

-You are able to provide a valid original copy of license/permits as required by Spa and/or State law.

-You hold a valid CPR certificate or are willing and able to obtain one upon hire.

-You are willing and able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Work schedules will include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.

The expected hourly rate for this position is $15.50 plus tips. The Meritage Resort & Spa reserves the right to modify or update this range at any time. The actual rate offered will be at the sole discretion of the company and determined by relevant experience, qualifications, and skillset of the final candidate. A full-time team member in this role is eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401k, educational reimbursement, and paid time off, including vacation and sick leave.
