  • Support menu curation
  • Project manage curated lines/skincare (branded and white label in case of the Albery)
  • Task force in need periods, opening spa, support on maintenance, hiring, etc...
  • Be responsible for the overall direction and strategy of the portfolio's spa outlets
  • Develop and support on property managers with new spa treatments, protocols, licensing, recruiting and facilitates training to the field
  • Ensure competitive pricing is set at each spa location, strategize alternative offerings and partnership opportunities in the industry
  • Continually seek to improve the guest experience and maximize the financial performance of each spa
  • Develop programming for all Meritage collection Spas
  • Consult with operations leadership and property management teams to deliver high quality, high margin spa offerings that delight guests and meet financial projections, while delivering brand experiences
  • Develop spa service menus and programs in hotels that meet brand, regulatory and financial projections
  • Ensure excellence and consistency in delivery of service
  • Provide guidance to property, operations and company leadership regarding quality and service standards within the spa
  • Monitor and analyze each spa's financial performance and contribution to hotel profitability
  • Collaborate with purchasing partners, operations and legal representatives to develop vendor agreements as needed
  • Work with property teams to develop realistic and attainable budgets and accurate forecasts for spa operations
  • Develop effective best practices and strategies for the spas, with emphasis on service quality, revenue maximization, and waste minimization
  • Develop menu, preparation, profitability models and market-specific programs that are competitive and profitable
  • Regularly visit spa locations to evaluate services and to provide guidance and support to spa teams
  • Develop and implement training programs that instill safe, effective preparation and service procedures and techniques to team members
  • Support property leadership in sourcing, interviewing, hiring, training and developing talent
  • Support property leadership pre-opening operations (travel is required)
  • Ensure best practices are shared and maximized across portfolio
  • Develop and oversee unique programming alongside Director of Wellness
  • Achieve best in market reputation for all spa
  • Conduct market audits of spa offerings in all new hotel locations
  • Work closely with Wellness and Retail for procurement, trends and alternative treatment options
  • Work closely with marketing and communication teams, to ensure brand integrity and maximization of press and social media opportunities
